There is a very disturbing video circulating the internet which features an 8yr old child giving a graphic account of how he lost his virginity. Equally disturbing is the encouraging commentary provided by the adult filming the video. The Heavenly Father provides us with wisdom and instruction on how and why to avoid the sin of fornication. Many parents see this as an uncomfortable conversation which can be put off until the teenage years. However, videos like this are further proof that it is never too early to teach your children the commandments of God.

Ecclesiastes 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

Proverbs 20:11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

As parents and guardians we cannot be ignorant of the temptations that are and will be facing our children. If they are to overcome the evils of this world, they must be armed not only with good life skills but most importantly the commandments of God written in the Holy Bible and the spirit of Jesus Christ.
