The Supreme Court of the United States recently passed a ruling stating that gay marriage is legal in all 50 states. Last week as the Supreme Court deliberated this decision, a double rainbow was seen over the White House. People rejoiced over seeing the rainbow and it was viewed as a sign of progress in the fight for marriage equality. Although the rainbow has been adopted by gay rights activists, it has Biblical origins that may be a more ominous sign of things to come. The rainbow is a covenant between God and man so let’s examine a few of the covenants he made with us starting with the rainbow.

Genesis 9:9-17 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

The Most High saw the evils that had multiplied on the Earth during Noah’s time and destroyed all men except for Noah, his sons and their wives. The rainbow was a sign of the covenant he made with man that he would not destroy the Earth again with a flood so why did the Lord flood the entire Earth in the first place?

Genesis 6:11-13 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

We are living in similar times now. The Bible, the commandments of the Most High and Christ have been rejected in this Earth by many of his people. The majority of this world lives under the mantra of the church of Satan which is “Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” There is no fear of God. People speak openly with blasphemous words against the Most High, Christ and the Bible and men have now made a covenant with death!

Isaiah 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

The covenant that men have made with death is sin. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The lies that they have made their refuge are false doctrines like we do not have to keep the commandments in the last days, all you have to do is believe in Christ and you can enter the kingdom, there is no God, the Most High does not care about how you live as long as you love him. Those are just some of the falsehoods in which people take comfort as they live out their lives of sin. You will not find those doctrines in the scriptures and there is a judgment for all those that go against the word of the Lord.

Since God is one that keeps his word, how will men be judged in these last days?

Revelations 21:1-8 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The rainbow is a sign that the Most High will not destroy the entire Earth as he did before with water. This time it will be with fire for all those that refuse to repent. Those that repent and keep the commandments will see a new world like we have never seen before. It will be a world where the Most High, Christ and the the commandments are the government and law. There will be peace, safety and rest for the children of the Most High. This is the new covenant for the children of Israel but we must fulfill our part of the obligation by returning to the Lord without delay.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Revelations 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
