Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

The Holy Bible tells us the blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. For one Atlantic City N.J. man those blessings started pouring in after receiving national attention when a recording of a street fight went viral on the internet. When you consider the hundreds to thousands of skirmishes recorded and posted online, there doesn’t seem to be anything special about two black teenage youth fighting each other in the middle of the street. But when Ibn Ali Miller steps in to deescalates the conflict, the nation took notice. Miller served as a mediator to the two youth and exposes the wickedness and cowardice of their so-called friends who stood on the sidelines inciting them on.

Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

By silencing the scorners in the crowd, Miller was able to end the contention and strife which is a lesson also recorded in the Holy Bible.

Proverbs 22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

The video has currently been viewed over 11 million times, even garnering attention from celebrities like Lebron James who chimed in with admiration and respect for the lessons Mister Miller shared with the teens.

Miller was recently honored by the Atlantic City Council where he gave praise first to God and then to his Mother for her impact in making him the man he is. The two teens were also in attendance to thank Miller for the lessons that he shared with each of them and the impact that this chance encounter had on their lives.

Miller was moved to tears at the ceremony stating: “I’m crying because, this whole situation, it deeply saddens me,”. “It deeply saddens me, the fact that it’s unbelievable. This should be very believable, this should be a norm and this should be regular.”
