A Generation of Fornicators

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Psalms 53:2-3

When you look at the world today everyone is so far removed from living how the Lord intended for us to live from the beginning. Men and women are committing fornication on an unprecedented level and it’s only getting worse, as children are having children and the older ones like a grandparent who should be setting the right examples are themselves fornicating, hence the title-A Generation of Fornicators.

In the beginning when the Lord created human beings, the rule that he gave to us to follow is for a man and a woman to be married and then create children from that marriage. He did not intend for us to be doing the things that we see happening today, people having sex with multiple partners or moving from one partner to the next until they ”find the right one” or, shunning marriage altogether and just having casual flings.

This is what Jesus Christ himself taught and upheld in the New Testament.

But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; [nothing about sleeping around is mentioned]

And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. Mark 10:6-8

This is the opposite of what you see most people doing today. Most people shy away from marriage and instead opt to sleep around (fornicate) until they die.

You have people today who are grandmothers that are still having one-night stands and the like. Setting the wrong examples for the future generation. This is especially prevalent amongst the Israelites (the ones that have been scattered all over the world whether we call ourselves black, Latino, Afro this or Afro that.)

We should be known as a people that are chaste but instead we are known to be some of the most unashamed fornicators on the planet.

Titus 2:3-5 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

The following law was given for us to follow before we got into the promise land so that it would be all good with us.

Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. Leviticus 19:29

We did not do this and thus we were punished-by being kicked out of the land and our ancestors ended up into slavery all over the world.

The sad thing about this though is that some of us still have this same mentality today.

We teach our daughters to wear tight revealing clothing, how to pick up men and to also sleep around until the right one comes along. These things cause our daughters to be whores in the sight of the Lord.

Most peoples understanding of the word prostitute or whore is a woman on the street corner that’s selling sex.

But we’ll put it this way so that people can understand what it is-sometimes you’ll see an interview with a prostitute and they will say that you have a lot of girls out there just giving up their vagina for free and that instead of them doing that they’re requiring men to pay and that there is no difference between them and the ones giving it away for free-THAT IS A TRUE STATEMENT.

The Lord looks at our women as prostitutes and whores if they’re having sex with someone that they’re not married to.

The Lord wants us all to repent from our sins and live clean in his sight and that’s the reason he sent Jesus Christ on the earth to teach us how to do that.

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification [what makes us holy], that ye should abstain from fornication:

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel [vessel is our bodies] in sanctification and honour; 1 Thessalonians 4:2-4

If you are a fornicator or teach your kids to be any other way than how the bible instructs us, you should repent.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted [change your whole lifestyle], that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19

You can make all the excuses in the world you want, saying that no one can do that or now are modern times, things have changed. The Lord is not concerned with that (Malachi 3:6) as there are those few and we emphasize the word few, who will be obedient to the Lord’s commandments (2 Timothy 3:19 and Matthew 22:14). For those few, we encourage you to continue to set the right examples.
