Being Mad at the World

The world just seems to be getting crazier by the day and people are taking out their frustrations in the form of mass shootings or by planting bombs. The recent youtube shooting exhibits this behavior, as well as the Austin bombings. When you read the two people that carried out the attacks manifestos, they were ranting and raging at the world and the atrocities that they see or has happened to them.

The world that we’re living in is very corrupt and people are doing evil to one another by being morally corrupt, mainly by how they can get over on the next person and make money.

All the evil that takes place in the world are driven by peoples love for money.

1 Timothy 6:10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The scriptures also tells us that the whole entire world is wicked, so when people do mischievous things to one another it should not come as a surprise to us.

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

No doubt we’ll be hurt when we ourselves are taken advantage of but we cannot be mad at the world and seek to get revenge by killing people.

Romans 12:19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

There’s always a wrong and a right way to go about handling things and the right way of handling things is to always follow what the word of God says because that’s always right.

Psalm 33:4  For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.

If you’ve been hurt by someone (like we all have been at times) and you’re having murderous intentions or thoughts, look at Jesus Christ’s examples of when he was here living on the earth to help suppress your thoughts.

The man did absolutely nothing wrong and was ultimately put to death because of people’s envy (Matthew 27:18). Christ did not retaliate or sought his own vengeance but committed himself to God who will take care of those who are doing wrong, in his own time.

This is the example that was left for us in the scriptures that we should follow.

1 Peter 2:21-23  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
