160 Children Rescued from Sex-trafficking in Atlanta

Summer is known for vacation, family fun, good times and beaches but it also has a sinister side. Summer is also the season when predators lurk about to lure, kidnap and force innocent children into sex-trafficking. Atlanta is a major hub for this crime so the FBI decided to conduct a sting in Georgia concentrating on Fulton, Clayton, Dekalb, Gwinnett and Cobb Counties.

During the sting, the FBI managed to rescue 160 children with the youngest victim being 3 years old and make nearly 150 arrests. These are children that were forced to have sex with grown men and/or women. Their youth was taken advantage of and they were raped for the perverse lusts of some and the wicked greed of others. Where are the parents? How does this happen? The scriptures have the answers and understanding.

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

Romans 1:25-29 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers…

This world is filled with wickedness because men have rejected God’s word. Because men refuse to hear the word of the Lord, they have no restraint and only work to fulfill their own lusts. The Most High called their lusts vile affections, reprobate, unrighteousness, maliciousness and wickedness amongst other things. How else could an adult see an innocent child of three years old and have a sexual desire towards him or her? You must have a reprobate (deparaved, un-principled or wicked) mind to even consider such a vile act. This what men chose because they would not hear the word of the Lord and now we see the results in these last days.

Sex-trafficking of children involves kidnapping, prostitution, covetousness and rape. What do the scriptures say about these sins?

Deuteronomy 24:7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Exodus 21:16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

Many of the children involved in these sex rings were kidnapped, stolen from their families who wait in anguish until the day they return. Under the old covenant, if a man stole (kidnapped) another man or child, there was only one judgment. Death! This is the way that evil was destroyed from among the children of Israel.

Joel 3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

Leviticus 19:29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

The Most High also gave us commandments against prostitution. We were not to sell or encourage our children to live a life of prostitution. Some of the children in these sex-trafficking rings end up in that terrible situation because their parents put them there. The Most High will punish those parents according to their deeds less they repent.

1 Timothy 6:9-10 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. (10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Colossians 3:5-6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: (6) For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

The pimps that trap these children and sell them for sex serve money as their god. That is why they are willing to sell children and their own souls for money. Their greed and love of money is the source of a great evil in our community.

Deuteronomy 22:25-27 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die: (26) But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: (27) For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

Romans 13:1-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. (2) Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. (3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: (4) For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

A child cannot consent to a sexual relationship. A child cannot choose to be a prostitute. It is rape. In many states there are laws that protect children from adults preying on them. Break the laws of the Most High and/or the land and you will be judged accordingly. The FBI was the sword used in this case to execute judgment upon people that would abuse children to fulfill their lusts.

1 Timothy 1:8-13 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; (9) Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, (10) For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; (11) According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. (12) And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; (13) Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Sex-trafficking and sex with children are sins. These scriptures show us that everyone has access to repentance and Christ died so we can repent of any sin. We must change our way of thinking and submit ourselves to the will of the Most High so we will not e involved in any deed that is contrary to the scriptures.

Lamentations 4:3  Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.

Job 39:13-17  Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? (14) Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, (15) And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. (16) She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; (17) Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

Lastly, as parents, guardians and caregivers we must do a better job of caring for our youth. In Lamentations 4:3 the scripture compares the daughters of Israel to an ostrich. Job 39:13-17 explains how the mothers lack the proper care of their children and leave them in a world where they can be hurt or killed. When we do not have a care for the bodies of our children, we are behaving like the ostrich but the Most High has not deprived us of wisdom. We need to keep a closer eye on our children, teach them according to the scriptures and provide them with the safe and nurturing environment they will need to survive in this world. When we do not heed the scriptures, our children end up in terrible situations.

We pray for the affected children and that the Lord heals them with his mercy.
