Charm City Documentary Trailer Profiles Epidemic of Violence in Inner City Baltimore

Many people try to resolve crime in our communities the wrong way. Most people look to men for the solution. Some establish after school programs, basketball camps, or gun buyback programs all of which have failed to stop the rampant violence in our community. The only way to stop the violence is for us to read the Bible, follow the instructions of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, do the commandments that are written therein, and teach others to do likewise.

Ezekiel 7:23 “Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.”

Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”

Matthew 5:21-22 “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:”

The understanding of Christ helps guide us so that we don’t resort to acts like murder, brawling, mugging and other violent acts.

Proverbs 3:1-2 “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.”

Many of our young men and women don’t live to see a long life because of the path they choose. Some choose to join gangs, sell drugs, and turn to prostitution or to stealing. The only way for us to remedy this problem is through the word of God.

Psalm 119:9 “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.”

I Timothy 1:8-10 “But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this,
that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly
and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for
manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers,
for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine”
