T.D. Jakes is full of it and he knows it. He’s being a hypocrite because he and the preachers of LA are all cut from the same cloth-they preach prosperity doctrine. In the video clip above, that’s what he’s pushing; prosperity doctrine. All these prosperity preachers focus on tithing and the importance of their congregation doing tithing, but tithing was never money when you read the bible (check out our article on tithing). One burning question that came to mind was how did he get to the point of selling books and movies to support his lifestyle? Isn’t he the one that is famous for saying that “Jesus is the product” when referring to his church, books and movies.

People won’t question these things though because all they want to hear is a “feel good sermon.”

Isaiah 30:8-10  Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: The Israelites who have since been destroyed from their homeland and is scattered all over the world will always have this recurring problem.

⁹ That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

¹⁰ Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

People are ready to chop your head off if you point out the fallacies of their pastor, especially a prominent one such as T.D. Jakes.

Proverbs 17:15  He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.

People don’t read the bibles for themselves to see that these pastors are not teaching the true doctrine of Jesus Christ. The true doctrine of Christ is about teaching repentance and getting our lives right so that we can inherit eternal life.

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The apostles of Christ also did the same thing.

Mark 6:12 And they (the apostles) went out, and preached that men should repent.

T.D. Jakes and many of these highly esteemed preachers don’t teach repentance, but people are not going to know these things because they don’t study the bible for themselves.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

As for T.D. Jakes, the Preachers of LA, what does the Lord say about these preachers?

Isaiah 56:10-11 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

¹¹ Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

If you think that you are following Christ by following these men and their doctrines, you are not.

Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

¹⁸ And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
