Restaurant tells Customers to Pay What God Wants!

When Dana Parris was ready to throw in the towel on her failing diner she decided to move to a drastic new business plan, “A Menu with No Prices”. Dana explains that her faith moved her to put the success of her business solely in the hands of God. According to the flyers in her restaurant, that also meant letting God control the Cash Register as well. The flyers read:

I am putting my “Faith” where my CASH REGISTER is.

I am letting go and letting GOD!!
No prices….No totals…..You pay what you think your meal is worth!!!

Dana then watched as her failing business made a 180 degree turn with revenues way up!

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Some critics have said that this new business model is unethical because it allows customer to overpay for food. Dana believes that although some patrons do overpay it is justified by the fact that many less fortunate are also blessed with meals that they could not pay for.

2 Corinthians 8:13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

According to the words of the Holy Bible our abundance SHOULD be a supply for the lack of others. Perhaps this new business model can provide us with a working example of how God and the business world can successfully co-exist!
